I really need people 2 answer4 project 'have you ever been given any information before you had an x-ray’?

Question:
yes/no will be fine. but a brief description would be fab.
thanx

Answers:
No. I have had X-rays on my hand (twice), arm (twice), ankles (lost count) and chest (twice). yeah, I should look where I'm going! All that's ever been said is where they wanted me to sit, stand, lie, etc. Sometimes they gave me a lead jacket/ pad, sometimes not, so I'm guessing it wasn't so much for protection as to block out areas they didn't want to look at.

I have found out that if you ask to look at the image they generally let you, but don't seem to understand why you might be interested! On one occassion I discovered that my arm was broken, when I had previously been told it was not!

The only thing I have ever been asked before having a x-ray was if I was pregnant or not. Sorry I don't have any more info.
NO. I had to take my son for an x-ray when he broke he's arm. I was made to stay with him as he quite young. I'm 12 weeks pregnant and had no idea that x-rays are harmful until after.
