Cold hands and headaches?

Question:
I have had poor circulation in my left hand since I was young, and now my left hand goes numb every now and then. My hands are usually always cold. I have also just recently been experiencing headaches after working out, or waking up. Sometimes I just feel light headed, and I get very sleepy easily. I had bloodwork and a CT scan of my brain done...everything came out normal.

My doc just recently sent me to get x-rays. I wasn't sure of what at first but when I got to the lab, they took x-rays of my neck. Why my neck? Has anyone experienced this? Or know of any conditions my symptoms could be related to?

Answers:
The reason that they x-rayed your neck was probably to check for compression of the cervical vertebrae. This can cause a condition called nerve occlusion when the vertebrae sort of pinch the nerves "shut" decreasing their function.

I would suggest that a Chiropractor may be able to clear up in a few sessions what a doctor would suggest surgery for. Maybe not, but isn't your health worth finding out?

Remember you have a right to know what and why a doctor is doing something. You have a right to seek other opinions and you always have the right to say "no" to any treatment or procedure.

you could have pinched nerves, which left untreated can cause serious damage, have you been to a chiropractor? if your most recent x-rays dont show nothing, then definitly go to one of them!!!
