i've had a fever for 6 months.?

Question:

3 months ago, my doctor says that it was just a virus that was taking a long time for me to get over. my mom jus says "what is wrong with you, girl?", and she hasn't found time 2 take me back to the doctor. has anyone ever heard of a fever lasting this long? it's 99.3

have you had blood work done? do you have eny other symptoms? i would go see a good oncologist to have bllod work done.i was in the same shape and found out i had leukemia. i hope you dont . get some help now. good luck

Honestly, it might not be anything to worry about. 98.6 is just an average and people often vary. My temp is normally around 97.3 or so. The 99.3 might just be the norm for your body.

Change Drs, and go.

This qualifies as a low grade chronic temp, which isn't good. You should get yourself tested for TB and hepatitis.
