you are OK. this happen to me to. and lots of other people.
Yes, do mention it to your doctor. It could be a symptom of endometriosis.
First, it would be helpful to know why you had a colonoscopy and what the results/diagnosis were. Diarrhea is very common during your menstrual cycle or pre-menstrual cycle. More so if you have other conditions like IBS, etc.

Some home remedies include black tea for diarrhea, raspberry eaf tea for mentrual cycle/cramps, etc., or resorting to the "BRAT diet" during stomach upsets (Bananas Rice Applesauce and Toast). Equalactin is a chewable tablet available over the counter; it is highly effective as opposed to other anti-diarrheals that aren't. You may have to ask your pharmacist to special order it if they don't carry it.

Remember to keep salt to a minimum and drink plenty of water, but not all at once or it will make your diarrhea worse. Small frequent sips at room temperature is best.

Good luck & hang in there!

PS: DO mention this to both your "stomach" doctor and your OB/GYN as well as any other medical professionals that see you regularly. It will be easier if they are all on the same page and have the same information to work from.
