if one of my friends say she will kill her self what do i do to tell her to stop saying that?

it sounds mean, but tell her that if she does, to make sure she does it somewhere out in the desert, or woods, so that no one has to clean up her mess.

She doesn't sound like much of a friend to me, more like an attention whore.

Put as much distance from her as you can. Don't feed the attention monster.

tell her youre tired of hearing it. and keep an eye out for her everyonce in a while. .give her a call to check on her. if she dies she dies. thats sad someone saying that but i wouldnt fell sorry for the person just for being stupid.

why do you want her to stop saying that? wouldn't you rather she stop feeling that? shutting her mouth will not keep her from killing herself. sounds like you are being selfish. instead get her to write down how she feels, the whole truth. without telling her bring what she writes to her parents. also bring a copy of what she writes to the police if she writes that she is going to do herself harm. the police will put her in a place where she can get real help. you might selfishly thing she will hate you for that but at least she will live.

Try and find out what it is that makes her feel that way. then try and help her find a way to rectify that problem, if you cant help her then tell someone who can, or at least tell your friend to talk to someone she feels comfortable with. sometimes all someone needs is a listening ear to make them feel better, and lettting her know that alot of people actually care about her could go along way towards getting her over this attitude.

make her feel happy about her self. point out the good parts about her and then ask her why she wants to kill her self. then tell her that you love her and that you would go crazy w/out her. she needs comfort and love give her as much as possible. take her to therapy or something. talk to her paarents/gaurdians.

You need to get her some help. Tell her how much you care about her. Say you care to much to let her kill yourself. Say you will there for her 24/7. Just you alone...won't help. She needs support from everybody. Her parents need to know.

First you need to decide how much danger she is in. Does she have a plan on how to kill herself? Is she only thinking about killing herself but will not take action? How much support does she have? What kind of coping skills does she have? Remember to take her seriously!

She also needs to go to hospital because she is in danger of hurting herself. She also needs to have therapy.

you need to talk to this girls parents .if these are serious threats against herself than they need to be addressed.never assume its just for attention,because if its not and your Friend follows through you will never forgive yourself for just sitting back and doing nothing to help.sounds like this Friend needs help whether she means it or not.good luck
