Answers:
Check with your pediatrician. I think babies can go swimming at a fairly young age. After all, they spend the first 9 months in water! I remember taking my little brothers to swimming class when they were less than a year old-- possible 6 months or so. The young babies even know to hold their breath when you blow in their faces and dunk them.

i would say at the age of 1 with extreme cautionwith a mature adult to watch.

the younger the better 5 years old

18yrs old

a few months should do it.

Probably when he/she can crawl. You might be surprised how well babies can swim. Of course they shouldn't be left without a helping hand at any time. id say 3 yrs old.. u have to beware.. plus its gives them time to get used to walking and movig around.. plus most babies are scared or deep water..

As long as the infant is able to sit up without assistance, around 4-6 months of age, that's good. Use Water Babies sunscreen to protect their young skin. There are other ones on the market that are for babies. This one is a personal favorite & I used it on my son. I first got him used to the pool with a smaller, 1 ring blow up pool in the backyard. Then I bought a infant floater & tested him in the bigger pool. He was fine & loved it. Now, he's 9 & is a regular fish in the summertime.

i don't know.but are you aware the name you are using is a greeting and also means now

6 months - enroll him/her in a water baby class I have seen many shows on this topic and they all seem to say that you should do it when they are really young as they already have the instinct in them to swim. Check with your local YMCA to see if they offer classes for babies.

I hav three daughters and a pool in the back yard..

We let ours in the pool at about 6 months. Watch out for the sun. use spf 6 million 4 months don't be scare, infant float and they can swim in the first leesson. they roll over on their back and they keep half of their face above the surface.
the only problem i have seen is that water in the audicular canal(ear). first time that you are in the water keep your baby close to your chest and little by little let him/her go, she will sink and she will come out to the surface. they have to attach to the new enviroment. after a week they wiil float without a problem. all this is done in water 2-3 feet deep. sometimes there are children that are slow and don't try to come out so if you see this pull infant after 3to4 seconds he has to learn this training. in about a mnonth you will be surprise
