No simple blood tests do not hurt, just don't watch if you have a fear. I am diabetic and have to check my blood every day and also inject myself with insulin, I used to be afraid of needles but not anymore since I discovered that they really don't hurt it is just all in your mind. no they stick a little needle in your arm draw some blood and that's it. You go back a few days later and they tell you the results. I had two done in one day just yesterday. They once took blood from the right arm and once from the left one.
