mm. depends on how prejudiced you and your man and your and his familiy are, but I would advise trying out sex before. if nothing else, it may turn out your husband-to-be is violent or insufficient, and it's easier to find out before the wedding, rather than wait and be disappointed. not a few of the divorces (I had heard a statistic of 70%, but I don't recall precise sources) are brought about beause one or both partners are not sexually satisfied. Makes you stop and think, at least it made me stop and think.

And I always preferred knowing. If I find there is a problem, I'd rather know before I am commited, not after. But that's a personal preference.

But if your husband-to-be is likely to be upset about sex before the marriage. don't even mention it to him.

I hope you see what I mean. Try to make things easier for yourself, but not by making it harder on the other parties.

Depends on whether your planning on having kids. Just look at your future and think of how would you respond to a question from your own child. If you leave a good example, you have a better chance of convincing your child to honour your request whereas.
