Does anyone have any info about night seizures?

Question:
My husband is 26 yrs old and never had a history of seizures before. He had his first one on 4-28-06 and another this morning (6-14-06). They have occurred only in his sleep and are the typical convulsing, tongue swallowing, foaming at the mouth seizures.
I need to know if anyone know good places to get info about his new condition.
Any bit of advide/help would be appricated!!
THANKS!!

Answers:
I had my first night seizure almost a week ago and have since been sent for tons of blood work, CT scans, MRI's - you name it and I've had it in the past week. The only thing that they've found so far is that the blood vessels in my brain are extremely dilated. My doctor said that sometimes they never come up with a clear explanation of why you are having the seizures because they can happen for no reason. Is your husband having migraines or dizziness along with this? The best thing to do for someone in a seizure is to make sure they don't hurt themselves as they are convulsing and after they are done seizing he will go post ictal and it's best just to keep things quiet with as little light in the room as possible. I'm finding more and more information about this everyday from my doctor so you can contact me if you want and I can pass more onto you!

Consult a physcian about a sleep study

take him to a doctor hun! I am 25yrs. old and I just started to have seizures as well. Mine do not happen in my sleep but they have happened at crazy times and places. I would go to a Neurologist because they can diagnose or rule out a seizure faster than anyone else due to the fact that seizures have to do the brain waves in your brain and who better to check it out for you than a specialist? Save money and skip the other doctors, just go to a Neurologist.

Please see the webpage for more details on Convulsions, Petit mal seizure, Generalized tonic-clonic seizure. Consult the neurologist.
