Why do men and women act so differently after sex?

After I have sex, I feel so close to the man i've mad love to and all I want to do is cuddle with him. The man always just wants to turn over and go to sleep. Is there some scientific reason for this?

1) Get man to plant seed
2) Get man to take care of you while the seed grows
3) Get man to help take care of the baby once you pop

Hence, the desire to cuddle would indicate a way of getting the man to help with steps 2 & 3.

For a man, in order to ensure his genes get passed down, he only needs

1) Plant seed

Ideally, it should be followed by

2) Rest, then repeat step 1 with a receptive plant pot.

Before you go off on me, just hear me out.
Men and women are different in a million and one ways, but so are men from all other men and women from all other women. In relationships, you might have a guy who is a control freak, and a woman who is the needy clingy type, or it could be vice versa. They would each have totally different needs, desires, turn-ons. etc. Maybe your guy's only goal in bed is to dominate, or conquer his mate, and once that's accomplished his interest is done.
I bet if you were to spin his axis off course a little, maybe give him something unexpected and dominate him a little, his reaction might be different.
Or maybe that's just the bastard that he is. >=)

I prefer to wander out to the kitchen and make a yummy sandwich after :^D
