Question:
ok for my brother's wedding my eye was messed up i either had pink eye or something with my alergies.

but did that do strain on my eyes?

Answers:
Probably some strain on the eye but you should be o.k. Check with your eye Dr. if you have any other questions though because we arent doctors......

Other Answers:
I think that it would only strain your other eye. You'll be fine.
No it doesnt hurt them in the long run but it does strain them and make life fuzzy :)
Just one...

One eye was in perfect sight.. while the other was not..
it'd only cause strian if you did it all the time. one time isnt gonna hurt you or do any damage
it shouldn't do more than cause temporary eye strain. you'll be fine in a few days at absolute most.
The eye without the contact is the one being harmed. You are using your good eye and your bad eye is trying to see but it needs help and the help is not there. The more you wear your contacts like that, your right eye will be the bigger power source for seeing. This will cause strain on the good eye and the bad for not being able to see.
Yes, wearing a contact on one eye forces the other eye to work twice as hard to produce the same picture from both eyes. Is like using weights to run and on one knee you have a ten pound weight, and the other have nothing. One of the legs will have to work twice as hard to keep up with the ther one, because you will have a hard time running with the imbalance. Which leg do you think will get the best work out, by the way...the one with the weight, or the one without it?
Either way, is going to make you out of balance, and the one without the weight is going to feel weaker than the other one, when you take the weight off and try to walk again.
When you're using the one contact, is going to feel ok, but when you finally take it off, is going to feel weird for a while, until your brain gets used to the shift again.
The longer you're wearing just one contact, the longer is going to take for your brain to adjust later.
If the eye you left it out of had decent eyesight you should be fine and even if it didn't for small periods of time you would be fine with one.
I have the same problem and the eye doctor said that it was O.K but lately my eye sight got worst my prescription went up so it is o.k for a few days. but don't believe to much in doctors
