Medical Symptoms Question?

Question:
Experiencing headaches, nausea, muscle cramping (charlie horses in legs and feet), fatigue, problems concentrating/retaining information, making errors on simple tasks and not sleeping. Could these be related?

Answers:
You don't give much other information like prior medical history, age, etc. The majority of these things sound like anxiety and symptoms associated with sleep depreviation. Headache, fatigue, concentration lapses, prone to error and not sleeping all sound anxiety-related. The nausea and muscle cramping are not often associated with anxiety.but anything is possible. Skeletal muscle cramping can sometimes be improved by taking a calcium supplement or eating foods high in calcium.

The first thing I would try to do is get adequate sleep. Try 25mg of Benedryl at night. Keep the bottle and a glass of water on the night stand. If you wake up at night, take another. Valerian is another thing you can try - available in the herbal supplements of most pharmacies.

If my advice is not helpful, discuss it with your primary care provider. He/she has other Rx medications that can be very effective.

Good Luck.

You need to get medical attention asap.
Sounds gigantic. A friend had similar symptoms and was years later diagnosed with MS. I know MS causes insomnia and the concentration and fatigue problems. it could be any number of chronic diseases. I just happen to be more familiar with MS
I'd see a doctor. These are pretty generic symptoms overall and could be anything from a lack of sleep to a nutritional deficiency to a much more serious circulatory problem.
Fibromyalgia, I have it. But you better see your Doctor it could be another disease.
is lifestyle habits causing this? talk to a doctor. that sounds pretty bad.
so many symptoms overlap other conditions i would highly recommend going to ur family doctor..
Yes. More than likely this is something that requires bonafide MEDICAL attention.at least call a nurse or EMS worker. If you have a walk-in clinic nearby, go!
You've listed the symptoms for about 90% of all medical conditions. It could be potassium deficiency, it could be depression, it could be anything!

Make an appointment with your doctor & have a blood test done so at least some of these things can be ruled out.
i think u should go to the doctor.
Could be stress.or it could be diabetes.

Have your blood sugar checked (fasting for 8hrs or more). I found out I had diabetes after having most of those symptoms (headaches, cramps, fatigue, confusion) with frequent trips to the bathroom (the cramps were from loss of potassium) and also 20+ pound weight loss in 2 1/2 months during Christmas. I thought it was stress from buying a house, but my blood sugar was over 250 mg/dl. It should be around 80-120 for a normal reading.
It sounds a bit like you might be dehydrated. How much do you drink during the day? However, I am not sure if dehydration causes sleeplessness. Could also be caffeine withdrawal, do you drink much coffee, tea, Coke etc.
Sounds to me like heat exhaustion, if you live in a very hot climate. However, other possibilities cannot be excluded, since these are very general symptoms, like gastroenteritis (if diarrhea is associated), or diabetes, or even stress. Yo should consult a physician if condition persists.
If heat exhaustion, try to drink plenty of fluids and salty foods. Also do stay in cool place.
