i have this verry itchy rash... it is above my belly button... or the upper half of my tummy...?

Question:

i am currently seven months pregnant.. the rash looks like red dots.. almost like pin pricks across my belly... does anyone have a diagnosis?

Go to the Doctors..... it maybe just a heat rash but you should go and get it checked out...hope birth goes well for you, good luck ...hope birth isn't too uncomfortable for you but it's a pain that goes away when you hold your beautiful new baby...is it a girl by any chance ?

Heat rash. Use a hydrocortizone itch cream on it and try not to scratch it because it makes it worse. If it really gets bad, then try taking Benedryl. Also, make sure that you don't take showers or baths that are too hot and put on lotion on when you get out to keep it moisturized at all times.

Since you are pregnant, don't put any kind of cream or medicine on it until you've okayed it with your Dr. first. It might be a heat rash, or maybe you are having a reaction to something. It's best to get checked by your Dr.

probably just heat rash - but do call your doc.. and no creams -especially hdrocortisone which is a steroid cream without permission- good luck
