Use lanacaine. the artist usually has a jar.stop being a punk or just dont get a tatoo.
Don't be putting tattoos all over an otherwise perfectly designed body. They will NOT make you any more attractive than you are.

hi, i dont think it would spoil your tattoo, however as the ink is placed between the dermis and epidermis, so it is about 3mm under your skin yuo might find that the numbing cream is a waste of time.
also depending on where you have them depends on the pain, which is more of a burning sensation, i have 4 tattoos, they look good and they hurt, which goes with the territory.
as long as you know what you want and go to a good artist the pain is only short term
You can't have anything on the surface of the skin when you get the tattoo, because the ink has to be able to penetrate the skin. The cream would create a barrier and the process would be inefficient. I am not sure exactly how the cream works, though, or how long it takes to work. You may be able to use the cream, let it do it's work at numbing, and them clean it off. I would ask the tattoo artist beforehand. Let me give you some personal advice, though. The pain is what makes the tattoo. It's what you will talk about later with friends and it is what you will go back for time and time again. It's addicting. Try it at least once without anything. You'll like it, I promise.
