I had the same problem.
Try All Free and Clear..
Took care of the problem with me.
Other Answers:
use liquid all and see if that helps
Look for one that is free of dyes and scents. This a Tide one like that I think. I know All has one.
Try something very mild- Ivory snow or someting like that is available-And call me to help put some cream on the rash- I am good at that.
any brand that is "free of dye and perfumes" All is really good. I break out too when I use that crap. Trust me "free and clear" works the best!
any thing but tide, sorry you will have to try them out and see if you break out again.
it doesn't matter just not tide. I had the same problem with wisk and cheer, I just don't use them try sunlight or gain or something that is as reputably good as tide but made by a different manufacturer.
I have a similar reaction to Tide. Now I use arm n hammer unscented. Turns out I was sensative to the perfumes in Tide and other scented detergents. Deodorants with scent give me a rash too. Try the unscented soaps and such when you can find them.
I had the same problem once when I used a powder because it didn't disolve enough. I went back and rewashed my clothes with the same stuff but made sure it disolved and my problem was solved.
Other than that I don't know what to tell you.
I have trouble with Tide too. I use either Surf or Arm & Hammer or Gain, those don't seem to be so harsh. I haven't had a problem with them. Remember to rewash your sheets & towels too, or your rash will keep coming back. Good Luck.
Try anything that states "no dyes or perfumes"
My father had the same problem. There are a couple of brands of detergents that are made for infant clothes. I believe one was called Dreft. There is also a Tide that is supposed to be free of dyes and perfumes. Any product to be used for infants usually are free of perfumes and dyes.
Oh no! Have you had this reaction before? Sounds like you have some form of dermatitis(allergic). Talk to your doctor about it first before experimenting with other detergents. If not, you'll have clean clothes, but very itchy in the process. Good luck, and maybe your doctor can suggest detergents that are free from dyes and heavy perfumes.
use a new laundry detergent!! DUHHHHHH! doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure that out!!
try an organic detergent.
