can anxiety and panic attacks cause physical symptoms even when not feeling anxious and panicy?

Question:

Answers:
As everyone else is saying, YES. For me I get hot, then clammy, then my stomach hurts, my heart beats fast, before these physical symptoms I wouldn't be anxious or panicky but I definately am during/afterwards. A lost of times I feel dizzy but not anxious or panicy. A good way to think about anxiety and how it leads to panic attacks is a downward spiral. First you feel a physical symptom, then it makes you 'think' about it, then you get another physical symptom, you start thinking and focusing more on your symptoms, before you know it you're sweating and you think you're going to have a heart attack. Try to learn to realize the 'spiral' is beginning and try to stop it at 'round' 1, 2 or 3 using breathing techniques and thinking nice thoughts.

Your question is sort of like the chicken and the egg. Sometimes a physical symptom can bring on anxious feelings, other times anxious feelings can bring on physical symptoms... hence the spiral.

Other Answers:
Yes it can. All kinds of physical symptoms.
Yep. They probably start when you are stressed, and manifest fully later.

Chill out dude.

Unfortunately stess from anxiety can cause horrific things to the body. I know first hand. Please if you have anxiety attacks make sure you get yourself checked out medically and then if they are panic attacks..PLEASE dont do it alone. Seek help.....PLEASE
Absolutely. Don't be afraid to talk to your doctor about medications to help control this.
I was told I have anxiety and panic attacks. I know for a fact there are certain things that can trigger them. Such as driving to new areas / new stores.....heights....ect. I was told it's due to a chemical imbalance. I've been given several different medications to try and help. The best so far has been exfector....or something like that. I also have a prescription for xanex when needed in extreme times. Other than knowing when I'm getting the odd feeling coming on, I typically do not have any other kind of physical symptoms. You may want to see your doctor.
I have anxiety and panic attacks and yes I think it does. I feel not right the majority of the time but my anxiety is very odd I have a hard time eating with out thinking I will choke so with out my pills I can't eat it makes me sick to my stomach and makes it so I am afraid to continue to eat. panic attacks creep up at anytime and can have mild symptoms for weeks. I think it is an everyday battle that you have to deal with all the time. I also get very tired some days and have headaches and cheat pains the chest pains are on a daily basis if I don't take my pills
yes it can you can shake u can sweat get hot are even pass out i have it myself and somtimes i do as so and mostly i have panic attacs
Yes They Can
I Use To Have Panic Attracts And On Occasion Still Do. Very Seldom Though. I Could Feel Them Come On. My Tong Goes Numb,Hand Tingle And I Had Shortness Of Breath Along With Chess Pains. Just Thinking About Something That Used To Make Me Nervous Would Bring Them On.
You Have To Learn To Control Them And Believe Me You Can. Without Mediation.
