Can mosquitoes get HIV-Aids if it bites a person with HIV-Aids?

Question:

Answers:
No. The mosquito would probably just die, and if it didn't, it wouldn't bite anyone else until it finished digesting the infected blood anyone. When sucking blood, it doesn't spit other blood back in, so the infected blood wouldn't go into you anyway. (Mosquitoes don't backwash)

And by the way, West Nile Virus and HIV are COMPLETELY different viruses.

Other Answers:
i dont think so
yes they can its called west nile
THE MOSQUITO CAN BUT LUCKLY THERE IS NO WAY YOU WILL GET INFECTED IF THE MOSQUITO BITES YOU NEXT!!
yes actually it can! so be carful!
Nope, the HIV virus thrives in humans only. Mosquitoes don't harbour or spread HIV.
The kind in apes is a different strain, although the one in humans is suspected to have derived from apes. If AIDS spread by mosquitoes it would be global pandemonium!
Not a chance. First off HIV is a very fragile and would be killed in the stomach of the mosquito. Even if it somehow lived through that and got into the blood of the mosquito you have to remember that HIV has a very specific binding mechanism that only binds to a certain kind of cell (CD4+ T cells) in the human body. It is like a lock and key mechanism and the key on the HIV does not fit into the locks on any other cells or species that don't have the exact same locks. So the virus would not be able to infect the mosquito.

I was told they can, I'm not sure of how true that this is but, thats what I was told
yeah.if u can get west nile u can get HIV
no. It cant get aids. HIV is for human beings not for animals, but Ive never heard of mosquitoes having AIDS though. I dont think its possible since its an insect not an animal. and it cannot transfer it, it only sucks blood not inject blood.
