here i was ready to make a joke out of it. When you go to bed, instead of thinking about going to sleep (and stressing yourself out about trying to get to sleep) try doing some simple relaxation exercises. Breathe slowly and evenly, imagine your body relaxing slowly in stages: first your toes, then your ankles, then your calves.etc. It can be a lot easier to fall asleep when you're not thinking about falling asleep.
I agree with misstevi.I wouldn't worry to much about sleeping it just makes it worse.Just lay there and think to your self as long as i am resting i will be fine .let your mind unwind and enjoy the relaxation .allow your self to think about the stresses of your day instead of trying to make yourself sleep. It takes time to unwind and learning to relax. Don't worry you will eventually get some sleep.
