Laughing and coughing?

Question:
Whenever I laugh, I get this relentless wet cough. If I don't constantly cough, it builds up and then it forces its way out or my voice gets really screwed up and I have to keep clearing my throat. It's embarrassing when I'm around friends and get this. Is this normal/common? Why does this happen? Is there any way to prevent it? (probably not)

Answers:
It sounds like you may have a bit of an allergy problem causing just enough sinus drainage to become noticeable when you laugh and cough up some of the buildup in your throat. You may try some Benadryl from a local pharmacy or see a doctor about this .

Get checked for thyroid or lung cancer. Good luck!
This is not normal. You are most likely sick. Maybe you should see a doctor or take coughing drops.
