Bad enough..the severity depend also from the cause of the burn(sunburn,chemival burn,caused by hot water etc)..If that's a sunburn it'can be cope with in a few days(only in rare cases requires a longer period).As to the burns 2nd degree as a whole is needed the appropriate approach,of course better to be at least seen by a doctor,and if there are already blisters and "bubbles" with plasma liquids should be removed in Thermal trauma specialisez Ward/Departmena etc. and prescribed the suitable medication..Always the patient should take into account that even from second degree burn,he/she may develop infection and complications..Good luck!!
