When will americans tell their elected officials that tasers shouldnt be used on citizens for small reasons?

Question: Police policies of when and how to taser a person are way too liberal. We as americans need to to our elected officials that we only want tasers to be used in deadly situations. Police officers will tase people for small resaons because their policies allow it. Ive even read news stories about innocent people getting tased because they were mistaken for somebody else.
