will i get sick if i kiss my husband when he's having a cold?

Answers:
Yep. But you've got hired help, so you both could stay in the bed for a few days, wouldn't matter. (I guess you have a maid, from that question the other night)

**EDIT**
I was wrong.

You would have thought that French kissing a snotty lover was a bad idea on many levels. But contrary to widespread belief, it is very hard to catch a cold by exchanging saliva. In 1984, researchers had the unenviable job of observing hundreds of students snogging. Kissing, they concluded, resulted in no transmission of the cold virus. "The virus travels in the mucus from the respiratory system," explains Professor Ron Eccles, director of the Common Cold Centre at Cardiff University. "Unless you have a bad cough, and some of the respiratory mucus has made its way into your saliva, the cold virus will not be transmitted by kissing."

Other Answers:
Yes, you probably will, unless you're the one who gave him the cold and in that case you're probably immune to it by now.

actually no. colds are spread through the air mostly, so you are far likelier to get sick if he blows his nose or sneezes in a room you are in that has poor ventilation. he should be in a place with lots of fresh air anyway, it'll help him get better faster. You would be exposed to the virus. Then you will either fight it off or get sick, depending on your immune system.

yes

NO,But if I do it,then it will be.

most probably, as most colds are transmitted via saliva, or what projects when you sneeze.dont go near him, but offer paracetemol and a warm and cozy environment. also nice home chicken soup is good for the body and the soul That depends if you immune system is strong enough or you may have already had a similar virus, if so you probably wont.
My whole family have had the flu in the last month, i kiss them all regularly and havent been sick yet. I did have a slight headache one day but it didnt last long.
I guess it comes down to luck and he didnt get as sick as you did last year! Good luck!

You definitely can.so just kiss his forehead. This also allows you to monitor his temperature to see if he starts running a fever. You may have to shift medications if his temperature starts climbing.you don't want it to turn into the flu. Take good care of him, but don't you go getting sick too! it's possible, but then it's also possible to get sick just from being in the same room as him. so may as well give him a kiss, it'll help him get better faster.

Oh all you need is plastic wrap, ya everytime you feel the need to kiss him pull out some plastic wrap & put it between yours & his lips & go at it. Make him feel better when he's sick & ain't gettin any

You might get the virus just being in the same room. The virus often enters the body by the infectee rubbing their eyes though so keep this in mind. Wash your hands and don't touch your eyes.
Sharing is so important to a happy marriage.

All I have to do is look at my wife and I'll get sick. he he he. more than likely, it's happened to me before

maybe, it depends on how strong your system is right now. I would only peck until he feels better

Hey, now, remember, "in sickness and in health.." Lol

Beings you live together your probly going to get it one way or another unless you banish him to a hotel and do some serious cleaning. Yup most likely.

Yup, very likely..assuming you kiss him on the lips :-)

My boyfriend never gets sick when he kisses me when I'm sick. I think he's magical.

you might, but not necessarily.and who cares? i mean.it's kissing. you can't go too long w/out it right? hehe. j/k. i'm sure you can. but if i loved the person whether i'm sick or not would not matter. Yes, of course..No need to ask, Cold is a droplet infection disease. Droplet infections are by Sneezing, coughing, Kissing, laughing or even singing loudly.

the best thing for you to do is kiss, kiss and kiss your husband.. so you build up those immunities in your body..so you are a super wife and can no longer get those bugs from kissing him..
so go kiss him now!

good luck
and
God Bless

nope but if he sneezes in the house you will

Good Luck and God Bless!!

You will more likely get it from shaking his hands. Yeah.. you will Ivy. but look at this way. You will take his sickness away.. give it to yourself.. and the great thing is your gonna be at home.. anyway. more of a reason.. not to do anything.. Say.. honey.honeyy! I don't feel well.. Ohh sweetie.. don't worry.. about cooking your sick.. I will just get some take out.. =)
