How about all those damn cold days in the winters you have to stand outside?
How about the inconvenience ANYWHERE YOU GO?

I say keep it up! Take care of you!

more money in your pocket, more life to live, less bad breathe.

Another 15 months of LIfe? Less risk of cancers and other related illnesses along with WHITE teeth and a healthy and fit lifetyle.

An ugly death by lung and throat cancer.

way to go 4 u !! belive me this is worth it

cancer and other lung disease I think 15 months hard work should not be wasted on one bad day. Think of all that you have accomplished. Please hang in there. Tomorrow will be better.

I quit and its harder than hell. Its been almost a year for me and all that hard work will be shot and your wallet will be less full if you light it up. Stick your head in the freezer and take a big breath. I know it sounds stupid but I live in Texas and its hooter than hell out here. Its a quick fix that makes you feel so much better. If you can go workout for about 30 minutes and drink a big glass of water. As hard as it to ignore the craving now remember how hard it was to quit and how good it felt when you finally did.

Congrats to you. way to go. i wish i can quit. i did the patch and the gum. the gum was awful!! any how just think there are no more bad days just some tough ones and this to shall pass. and you have come so far to quit those nasty smokes don't go backwards nothing is worth it. please tell me how did you quit? and keep on keepin on. good luck. i hope i helped you.

That you counted the months and asked this question, you donn't want to go back and make your day even worse. Hi there, Metalichick: Hang in there! If you're having a brutal day, be proud of yourself for getting through without that old nicotine crutch. Now -- cast your mind back. Don't think about the cigarettes, but think about the way your mouth used to taste. Remember how ugly that was? Do you really want that back?
I'll bet you don't. And I'll bet your hair smells better, your clothing smells better -- and your car doesn't reek when you open the door.
Be proud of yourself for the past 15 months. That's wonderful. And reward yourself with a special treat to get through a brutal day. How about a jelly bean? or a fresh kiwi fruit, or a luscious mango -- go ahead, splurge on something out of season. You've earned it.
Today will end -- and you'll still have those 15 smoke free months behind you, and you'll still be proud of yourself!
I'm proud of you (and I know what you're going through. I'm an ex-smoker too.)

think of all the hard times you had when you first quit! and remember that it may be seven times harder to quit each time you restart-there is a bible passage that reflects this theory, but i dont kknow which one anymore. First of all, that's GREAT! Surround yourself with things you love. Know that everyone who has read this are proud!

I quit a three pack a day habit and one year after I quit i wanted one so bad I would have killed for one. I resisted and later I did not want one. It has now been 20 years since I quit and I am sooo glad I did not give in to those urges. a friend of my quit for 7 years and at a party thought he could smoke just one. He is now back to 2 packs a day after having been quit for 7 years.

Remember that first day..that second day of waking up and fighting off those urges to smoke?? Do you want to have to do that again? You can do this.

Go out and reward yourself! Buy something! You deserve it! Then promise yourself to continue the good work! Calculate what you saved over those 15 months and put it in your savings account for the nx lousy day!
