cut out the sugar, and fried foods. and don't eat and go right to bed. Cause that will store fat. If you have dinner at 7 go to bed at 10.
Simply doing a few small sets of regular crunches is not going to get the job done. I suggest you look up some variations of the ab crunch and do those. Another alternative would be to invest in one of those excersize balls (yeah, you know, the big blue ones) and use that. A strong core is the key to a fit midsection.
And no, making yourself throw up will not give you a toned stomach. Love handles are excess fat and skin that has to be toned through excersize. And no, you can't just do crunches or whatever for five minutes and expect it all to go away. If you're going to go for a better look, change your lifestyle.
I think you're giving out more info than people really want to know. exercise more, eat healthier and for sure cut the sugar..
