Is incomplete carpal release by a surgeon medical malpractice?

Question:
Had 2 carpal release surgeries done by Dr. One worked perfectly, other hand hurt and was numb for 2 years untill I had surgery again. Current Dr. said the carpal ligament was not cut all the way through, thus the numbness and problems. I have had to pay for this third surgery out of pocket and it is over 7,000. dollars. Is the origional surgeon responsible for assisting me to pay for it? He even admitted to me it was his fault!! I dont want to sue anybody,
but I need help with these bills.

Answers:
I would contact a lawyer, they will usually tell you if you have a decent case or not for free, doesn't mean you have to sue anyone. If they say yes, then you should contact the doctor and let him know what's up. If he refuses to pay, you may have to go to court.
