My boyfriend is going for a physical to join the marines tomarrow do u think he can pass a drug test?

He didnt inform me until today that he had smoked a joint like 3 weeks ago. now he is scared he wont pass his drug test he drinks more water than the average person and he runs alot, he has also been taking water pills and laxitive so he could reach his weight requirment. do you think he will pass?

yea if he hasn't been drinking in the last 24-48 hours, medicine's okay cuz they can tell medicine 4rm other harmful drugs, but let's get to the real problem. Why is he joining the Marines anyway?

nope, he best pull out now or tell the recruiter, there is no way he is goin to make it. If he tries, without saying anything and fails, thats it, there is no second chance.

I guarantee you, he WILL fail if what you say is true.

Absolutely not. It takes longer than 3 weeks to get that out of your system. Had it just been alcohol, he might have been okay. That wasn't very smart of him. So much for his future.

hes not screwed. there are waivers for everything, especially in the marine corps. if hes THAT concerned, have him tell his recruiter about it, so they can head off the problem before it really does become too late.
and dont listen to all this "no discipline or dedication" rhetoric from everybody else.

for the record, i smoked pot while in the DEP and all that changed after boot camp. one would have to make a pretty strong argument that i ended up being a crappy marine. (meritoriously promoted, combat decorated in afghanistan.)

please..what the Marine Corps needs right now is warriors. If her boyfriend has a fighting spirit and wants to serve his country, let him enlist, let the drill instructors do the rest, and get off your high and mighty POG pedastal already.

well i odnt know if he will but i can tell you what works for next time this comes up niacin you can buy them really cheep and if he takes four of them two days befor two at night two i nthe morning and eats a full breakfast it should work niacin if he takes a niacin with vitamins then he should pass no problem it cleans the system

He will never make it as a Marine.
He obviously doesn't have the decipline or dedication to join the Corp.

If he is a cronic smoker it can stay in your system for a month or so. Depending on what kind of test they give him they can go back and check up to 3 months. Including alcohol, it sit in your enzymes for 3 months. Blood test and Hail follical test he is screwed. His best bet is to be honest with his recruiter and then ask his self what is the real reason he is going in their for and what is he running from. Honesty is the best policy. And he wouldn't get away with the sh** in any service. Tests can even show if you are taking anything to clean your system with. Good Luck.
