how can i get rid of a pinched nerve?

Question:
its on my neck and continues down my whole arm its feels like its on fire and parts are numb

Answers:
Go see your GP and get a referral for a neurologist (Nerve doctor). I had that condition for several years and was being treated by a chiropractor. It turns out I had a malformed disc in my neck that was pinching the nerve. Surgery corrected it. Chiropractic is good in some areas, but it isn't a cure-all.

You really need to go see a chiropractor. What you have is a subluxation, when your spinal column is out of alignment and the little nerves between them get pinched.

Medical doctors will do different things to fix it.such as drugs and surgery. Chiropractors only study and treat the spine and how it affects the rest of the body.so they will give you treatment of the CAUSE, not only the symptoms. Chiropractic is a more holistic form of health care.

If it is an emergency, of course.go to the emergency room or call 911. Hope you feel better!
First, go and see your primary care physician. They will probably run some x-rays to find out just what disc is causing the hierniation. Second, they will probably either refer you to an orthopedic doctor who will suggest physical therapy or your primary care physician may just suggest physical therapy. You can also try a chiropractor; however, most medical doctors don't beleive in that kind of therapy. I had two heirniated discs in my neck from whiplash and it worked for me!
