I have serious pain just under my lower left rib if I over eat, but it always feels like something is in there

Question:
I ask the doctor about it two years ago and she very bluntly said don't worry about it. It continually gets worse as time goes by. I am a 41 year old male. does anyone have a clue what it is, Oh by the way I got rid of the hateful doctor and don't have another doctor at this time.

Answers:
My husband had those same symptoms for the longest time, and like you his doctor said 'no biggie'. After some time he went to another doctor who prescribed acid reflux medication, and told my husband after x-rays that he has a small ulcer. He also recommended some changes in his diet. His symptoms have greatly improved since.

Other Answers:
maybe a clogged artery.

Maybe you have a hernia. Get another doctor and have u had any surgeries? I've seen these shows on tv where a person finds out something was left inside them when they had a surgery.

i wouldve said you have a bruised rib, but i think you should see another DR to get xrays and a CT scan done.

Overeating is bad. However, since it feels like there is always something there, it could be a lot of different things. None of them are nice, happy things like a bundle of hundred dollar bills or a cuddly puppy growing in your chest cavity, so you really need to find a doctor and have it checked out. It could be a hernia, it could be some kind of obstruction, it could be a tumor, you could have some organ that has become enlarged due to some genetic or organic condition, or it could be a cracked rib. You'll never know until you find a doctor who gives a rat's patooty about his or her patients and have it x-rayed.

Good luck. I hope it's nothing!
