can meth have an odor while smoking it?

Question: I'm not talking about meth labs, i mean if someone was just smoking meth and you walked in the room could you smell something if you were not high on anything?i read somewhere that if it wasn't pure enough it could have a smell and i really need to know if its true. thanks

meth does have an oder but it's not someting you would smell and automatically know what it was if you weren't looking for it. my mom used to be able to walk in my room and into a cloud of smoke and not know what it was. i am now an addict in recovery however and i could smell it a mile away and be able to pinpoint it immediatly. look for foil, lightbulbs, or glass tubes around the scene and you'll know whats up.

Yes, meth does have a distinct smell. . . but I dont really know how to describe it. smells like meth. Sorry I couldnt be more help. but if you smell it once you will always know the smell. believe me.

Yes, it does have a oder Its almost like a musty smell. But here are a few things to check out about your friend. Of cource his pupils and being wired. But a glass pipe smoker has to clean his peace constanly by wiping the black sute off of it. Look for black marks on his fingers.or bottom of pants legs. or toliet paper with black dust on it. Also the smoke is not like cig smoke it is alot thicker and will linger in the room longer.. Trust me on this
