why should woman be expected to shave??

why dont guys have to shave their legs, armpits, pubic area and everywhere else? is hair that bad??

Answers:
Because we are supposed to be the delicate-soft-pretty ones. and because society says so. My husband has horrible hair chest and I hate it but I have no word on this, in the opposite, I have to tear off hair from anywhere he gets to see. It's a beauty standard.

thats a common myth.women do'nt have to shave unless they want to or if you are selconsious about the way you look and feel you have to keep up a certain apperance for people.

who said guys dont shave. some of them do shave their private areas and armpits.

Regarding public area, legs n hands. they dont longe for that soft skin n chocolaty look..which women always want to b so.

thats y women do it willingly and men dont.

first and formost you have the final say so. some other countries women do not shave. some people like alot of hair.

It actually depends on your culture, your partner and your preferences. I have just come back from Greece where women don't shave. My Partner thinks that shaving the pubic area is weird because it makes people look pre pubescent, Most Japanese women remove ALL their body hair other than that on their head. Each to their own I say!

its the ideal image that soceity has created for us.. we look at pics in magazines and trick ourselves into thinking "its gross" its sad, really.

It's really a cultural thing, some men (very few) do shave, women do it typically becasue they don't like to be hairy or that others may be disgusted by it (thats where the cultural part comes in). Men naturally have more hair on their body where as if a woman has hair in certain areas it's not expected and may even get a disgusted response. Pubic area is not expected of either sex its more of personal taste and the partners taste.

I don't that I think that it is not man-lye to shave Thar legs unless Thar a dancer

Actually, Im a guy, and I shave my legs, mainly because Im a cyclist. The majority of people dont understand why, until they see someone with a big patch of skin removed on their calf from a crash. Plus, it makes the nightly rubdown and massage from the trainer a whole lot better. :)
