Adults taking Adderall for success?
Question:
Answers:
i can definatly understand why people would do that, and it probably does work. I just graduated high school in January. I took Adderall every day throughout my senior year. I'm pretty smart already when it comes to school, but before I took Adderall I'd always fall asleep in classes or wouldn't get around to doing my homework. I got average grades. I started taking Adderall occassionally my junior year for weight loss, but then I realized that it helped me amazingly in school. The first time I took it, I stayed up all night finishing a project that everyone else in my class had been working on for weeks, but I just started that night. I ended up getting a perfect score, and extra credit for how well it was done. Adderall makes you want to work. Any kind of work-homework, housework, or at your job. It makes you extremly motivated, and you become very meticulous at everything you do. You feel the need to complete each task above perfection. I took the ASVAB test in high school as well, which is a military placement test. I took it just for fun, to see how high I could score. I've always scored high on tests like those, but I knew with Adderall it could be even higher. I ended up scoring the highest out of anyone in my grade. I also took a placement test at a local college along with a few other classes from my school. I scored in the highest percentile in each part of the test, and once again, had the highest score of anyone that took it that day.
Adderall works wonders, even for people without ADHD. Anyone can take it and it would help them the same way. I can see how people are taking it in order for them to be successful. It definatly gives you the motivation and will power to accomplish whatever you want.

Yes, and it's a miracle drug. You work like a well-oiled machine, pumping out answers of genious quality. I am the smartest human being when I take adderall.
First of all, no legitimate doctor would prescribe a drug for success. The articles wording is twisting the truth.
I'm a 43 year old woman who has been treated for depression for over 13 years. At 40 my depression turned into full fledged manic depression.
I was diagnosed with ADD in 1998. My son has it, as well as my mother. My doctor at the time said some of my depressive symptoms were related to my inability to think and manage like a normal person and that often people with these symptoms think of suicide because they know they are smart but unable to apply themself. however, my insurance company would not pay for the drug at that time.
I am now with a new doctor who is treating ALL my symptoms. We started Adderall and i can't tell you how much of a difference it has made in my life. .for the first time I can actually think. I mean really manage my thoughts, focus on my tasks for the day. It's as if my windsheild had been muddy all my life and someone came along and cleaned it up sparkly and new.
My depression has lifted, although the bipolar still exisits and I must stay on mood stabilizers and anti depressents all my life. Adderall is MY miracle. It's not for everyone. There are side effects, but the change in my ability to process thoughts is something I never thought would happen.
People who have been under achievers due to ADD (which is a real illness) once they are treated for their condition, they do reach goals they never thought they would. So yes, we can be successful because of a mental health treatment.
Sucess doesn't come in a pill, it comes from planning and dreaming and having hope and taking care of your mental health. Adderall gives some people this hope.
( i dont believe in giving this drug to children however!)
