Some of the people here answer these question because of the points which I think is crazy because the only reason you need points is to get to the next level so you can answer more questions. Because some people like to think that they know something about everything, and know little about anything. Also, some people just like to have their say on everything. So, does that help you?

Everyone wants to share what they know. Being heard is big ego booster. Some people's need is so great that a proper answer becomes secondary. They are happy as long as they can feel recognized.

lol... because they don't care and only want the 2 points. It's sad but we all know it's true.. I try not to just answer a question with rhetorical bull and actually have something to say or give to the person asking the question. It is the most frustrating thing to see a bonafide question that needs an answer and you get people time and again who will respond "I don't know" or "who cares"... very frustrating but we are not all like that. Sleep well.
