I would like to know this too! I mean my bf farts and burps all the freakin time and when I would burp I would get so embarrassed and say "excuse me" and turn red. Now I really don't care. I burp in front of him all the time! .. He HATES it! and one time he said "I've never heard you fart" and I kinda laughed about it and let one rip a few mins later.. omg he flipped out! He thought it was the most disgusting thing ever. To me it was funnie to see his expression, I don't fart in front of him or around him, but he can do it with no problem. He begged me to never fart in front of him!

it is not apporiate it mostly from along time ago when women didnt have alot of rights and they thought that farting/burping was not apporiate for women but ok for men
