Ulcer on leg can't go near water is there anything out there?

Ok I have a leg ulcer on my leg and its been very hard to cure its still there after 2 years with hospital treatment, befour I had this I was a frequent surfer and swimmer but doctors have told me to stay away from the salt water in the sea and I have a shower bag to go over my leg in the shower. What I want to know is there anything which can go over the leg for swimming or under a wetsuit its killing me I can't get to surf untill this is healed. Is there a mobility item out there which stops water going over it when swimming?

This is hard to answer since you health is important. I would suggest using something to cover the wound and placing vasoline over the area to help prevent water to touch the sore. Place a large banage over the area and using something else to place on top of that. You may not be able to surf as much as you want but you might be able to get a couple of waves. Hope this helps.

Hey there, better safe than sorry. I would wait for it to heal before going out to surf again, but if you want to go swimming, I would talk to your doctor and see if you can at least do that and get in the water. Maybe he can make a special wrap for your leg. Good luck!!

OK i have a mastermind plan. Get a big black trash bag and cut a hole in the other end. Then put your leg though it and tape the ends to you leg with like 40 pecies of duck tape! and do that like 10 times! You will have 10 layers of protection!
