I first started my period when I was 13. I think maybe I was in 6th grade...trust me..if you haven't already started yours you don't want to rush it. It is something you will have for many more years and at times can be a real pain....because along with the whole womanhood thing comes cramps...mood swings etc.... So have no worries if it hasn't already come enjoy it , and if it has then make the best of every month by being prepared. Always keep tampons or pads on hand and some something for cramps like midol or pamperin.

between the age of 12 and 16, each and every person is diffrent, i didn't start mine till 15. You really don't want to be in any hurry to get it if you haven't already..it's not fun..
Each woman body is different therefore experiences their menstrual cycle at different times in their lives. For me I started at 12 but another friend started around 15.
It can start as early as 8 or 9, or as late as 15 or so. Better nutrition is thought to be a factor in girls getting it at earlier ages than in the past. I got mine in the sixth grade, and my daughter got hers in the 7th grade.
I started at 11. As far as I know. I was the first out of all of my friends/classmates. Everyone is different.
I started when I was ten. I think it was in fourth grade.
I was 11
I took a child development course this summer and my text book said that if you are athletic and do a lot of excersize it might cause you to start later...like 15 or 16. If you are overweight, you might start earlier.
Everyone is different. My book also said that typically, girls that start later end up with less depression and have a better outlook on life. So, if you feel like your starting late, don't freak out...it may end up being better.
If you are really worried, go see a doctor or call one.
