Yes and Yes.

Yes, there are killer bees in the U.S. However, there stings are no worse than a regular bee. but "killer bees" have the advantage of attacking in great numbers which means the quantity of stings increases, thus the quantity of venom, which could kill you

Yes, they are here. People don't die from a single sting unless they have a severe allergy. The danger comes from their aggressiveness. The bees will often swarm, and inflict hundreds of stings on a single victim.

There are killer bees in the U.S. In fact, one of their first victims was a pit bull chained to a tree in San Diego. That's comedy, I don't care who you are. But it's not the single bee sting that can kill you. Unless you're allergic to bees, that is. It's the fact that they attack en masse. (That means a lot of them all at once.) They literally go into a frenzy and sting the crap out of their victim by the hundreds. That's what kills you. Like in that movie "My Girl". someone that is extremely allergic to a bee sting could. One killer bee sting in itself is not deadly. Killer bees have that reputation because they are relentlessly agressive towards perceived threats. They continue to swarm and sting until humans and animals are overwhelmed.

Yes they entered California about 6 years ago, from Mexico, and have spread to several adjacent states.
A person can die, and many have, from multiple stings from a swarm if these bees. They attack in swarms.
If you are bitten run and try to get into a house or car. Get to the nearest Hospital emergency room. There you will most probably be injected with diphenhydramine, (a strong antihistamine), and adrenaline. All in order to stop your immune system from overreacting and you going into life threatening anaphylactic shock.

My friends live and have a ranch out of Pearsall Texas, southwest of SanAntonio, there are some there, a group of them got after one of their cowboys, and he told me he had to run his horse for about 2 miles to get away from them ,, he said they are very aggressive and have an attitude, you don't want to mess with them ,, the state has catch traps for the to monitor their advancement ! And yes they can kill you yes, and people can't die from just one sting, unless they are alergic to bees. however, killerbees never are alone, and the person generally gets hundreds of stings which puts enough poison into their body to kill an elephant

Yes and you can die since they are in packs to defend their territory. Also I watched on discovery channel that they can chase you for up to 1mile..those are some determined bees!

The other thing I saw years ago, they put a fake toy dog that walks where the bees were and they left so many stingers in it oh,did I mention it stopped working too..that tells you how bad it is when they attack you!
