They could put a shunt in your veins, or depending on the medications they're trying to give you they could administer it... alternatively...

In an emergency, they would probably give you a "central line" IV, where they surgically target your deeper, much larger veins to give you what they need to.

I think it's called IVC filter I'm not sure because I had two aneurysms & two strokes in 1999, They also had me on cumadin,I don't think you can get a machine. Pray and ask the Lord to make a way for you to get to the appointments do you live in a city that has a program to help you out?
