I will prefer to say that every person will have MPD(Multiple Personality Disorder). Do You Agree with me??

Question:

Answers:
Tuesday's response is excellent. Someone who reacts differently before and after drinking is drunk. It has nothing to do with mpd. Also, walking in your sleep does not constitute mpd. Someone who is soundly asleep can get up, but they are definitely still asleep. It is not explained by multiple personalities.

And no, I don't agree with you that everyone has mpd. MPD is a result of horrific abuse inflicted on a child. It almost always begins before the age of 8, but that doesn't mean that the person is aware of the mpd. I have a friend who was born in 1962. She did not find out about the mpd until 1991 after a car accident.

MPD allows a child to survive abuse of a degree that most people cannot comprehend. My friend who has mpd had an identical twin who was killed as a part of Satanic ritualistic abuse on their 16th birthday.

Speak for yourself and I disagree i think everyone has multiple personality CHARACTERISTICS but don't have the disorder.

no every person has different emotions within the same conscious physci while a "MPD" person has emotions in to different conscious states basically like the brain turns off one person and turns on another

myself and the rest of the voices disagree.

I agree that you prefer to say it, but not that it's true.

MPD is a serious illness that can totally disrupt a person's abilty to achieve the things in life that many of us take for granted.

Just because your feelings may change from day to day or because you may feel more than one way about any given situation, I hardly think it compares to people who wake up in strange places with their friends angry at them for something they don't believe they ever did.

MPD is usually caused by severe trauma in early childhood. Every person does not suffer severe trauma in early childhood. I think your idea is a complete misunderstanding of the disorder. As for me the answer would be no, but when it comes to myself then the answer is yes, and of course I say it would be no.

So. in taking a majority rules kind of situation, guessing at an answer , majority says - NO.

Of course only 3 votes were taken (me, myself, & I) But we hope this helps you in your querry. I agree to 3/4 of your statement. Yes! Homo sapeins are built to have multiple personalities! ( Not disorders!!)In Hindu mythology, Ravana was said to hev ten heads- meaning he only had ten different personalities in him.. but take every one of us we have thousands of personalities merged in us! When you started reading this, you had one personality but now I am sure you are in a different personality trait! Right?
