What are the differences between Lipitor and Crestor?

Question:
Is it true that cholesterol is released in the urine of a patient taking Crestor?

Answers:
Crestor is a bit harsher on the body than Lipitor (one reason my doctor won't put me on Crestor)

Other Answers:
spelling, i guess!
Lipitor is backed by the doctor who created a Heart replacement. Go with Lipitor. If you need it. Be advised that both medications can be very dangerous. The link below will give you some guide lines on this subject. Talk to your Doctor
I took Lipitor back some years ago. Lipitor drained me of all my energy. I then started taking Pravachol, this done the same thing. I was given free samples of Crestor from family physican. I done a little research on the Crestor and dumped it in the trash. I also took Zocor, this medication just about killed me. My muscles would hurt. When I would wake in the mornings, I would have to lay for at least an hour before I could get up. I've not taken any type of cholesterol meds in over a year. I've been eating Cheerios Cereal and believe me it has lowered my cholesterol. If you can get by without taking any meds, try eating oatmeal and cheerios. Ask your doctor about the Pravachol. All of these meds have a lot of side effects and are dangerous. Sometimes we have no choice in the matter.
Good Luck!
