i have a lump under my skin near my left hip bone..?

Question: recently this morning i found a lump, about a bean or peanut size, near my left hip bone. i have no idea what it is or how i got it. i do play volleyball and tend to slide on my side. can anyone please give me information on what this "lump" is?

I would go to your Doctor an have a biopsy taken and see if its cancerous or not.

It may be a malign tumor, (not cancerous, but still growing), and you "will" want to have it checked out promptly!

i believe that it is a collection of fat cells and can be removed by an extreamly minor surgery that takes like 5 minutes
