What is the ratio of average Doctor salary verses the average non-doctor salary in the US and other countries?

Question:
I am especially interested in the US, European countries, Canada, Brazil and Mexico.

Answers:
This is a difficult question to answer for several reasons. One, the different specialties of physicians can make significantly different salaries. For example, the average Family Physician in the US makes about 140K per year and the average Interventional Radiologist makes 600K per year. Another problem with answering this question is that non-physician salaries differ by locale. Rural areas tend to make much less than more Urban/Suburban areas. I think the last figure I have heard (this is not fact but rather from what I remember hearing) is that the average US household has an average income of 25-35K (which may be from one or two workers). I hope this helps.
