your best bet is to go to your doctor and he can tell you where to go to see if you have it or not.
I agree with TW, you have to talk to your doctor about it. They will usually recommend someone that you can see to talk about it with. Plus, I would recommend that you see what has happened to you lately or in the past that could have damaged your emotions.
Does this make sense to you...??

Roses are Red,
Violets are Blue,
I think I'm Bi-Polar,
And so do I.

If so, I think I would consider speaking with you doctor. If you are between the ages of 24 and 34 you may also consider the fact that we are getting to the point in our lives where we see the world as it really is and such things can cause major mood swings and weird thoughts.

If you have had suicidal thoughts the please see a Doctor, but if not, and you are just dealing with huge mood swings, learn to control your outbursts and you may find that you can deal with things a lot better, and the "bi-polarness" will seem to go away.

A few years ago I felt the same way, I would shift wildly in my mod, and snap at very inapproriate times. But slowly I have learned that I am probably just being a spaz and learned to try to brush off the small things in life and not let it get to me.

One thing that I have caught myself thinking was..."Will this dramatically change my life for the worse...if not....why am I flipping out about it."

Hope this may help you in the slighest way.

P.S. Maybe religious belife might help you a bit. You dont feel so alone. I know it helpped me.

God Bless You
1st keep a diary for 30 days
2nd take the essential fatty acids ( it's a supplement vital to mental health
3. don't do any drugs including marijuana-this makes the moods worse. If you've been doing any drugs includings stackers
it will take 4-6 weeks to get them out of your system
3. keep a food diary for 2 weeks by brand name- schwebels bread, eckerich balogony, frenchs mustard and hour later write down how you feel, if it is moody or sick or achy, then circle the foods and seperate each food eating only one at a meat until you find which one or two together is making you moody
4. If you do all this and nothing helps- then go to your community mental health people and they will direct you
5. drink a gallon of water a day
Best thing is to get an eval done. My hubby has bi-polar. Generally in a bi polar a person doesn't realize there is a difference. As I said get an eval. Go to couseling and anger management. And find a good psychiatrist.
Here is some good info about this.Hope it helps
