Answers:
We have patients that come in with this problem and it usually turns out to be migraine related vertigo. One person in particular has this exact problem. Do you ever feel your eyes kind of jumping? This is called nystagmus. You should see an audiologist so that you can have some hearing and balance testing done. If you have one particular type of dizziness called BPPV, an audiologist, ENT or neurologist can perform a treatment that will clear the dizziness up for you and you may never have it again. If you don't have BPPV, you may have to have full balance testing called an ENG or VNG (depending on the kind of equipment they use). Normally treatment for this is eye exercises and slight diet modification. But with these small changes, the majority of our patients can keep their balance under control! Don't let the doctors talk you into taking antivert or meclinzine, they only dull your symptoms-they don't help your problem! Good luck and I hope you feel better!
I had that problem. You might need to go to an eye doctor and get glasses. my problem was that my eye muscles strain to much.
