Who had imaginary friends as a child? & why?

Question:
I had them b/c I had no real friends in school. My psychiatrist wanted 2 lock me up in the mental institution & thought I was schizo. Of course, I no longer have them, but my family falsely accuse me of still having them. I have real friends, but I don't bring them around my family b/c my family likes 2 laugh @ my friends, so I don't bring them over 2 be embarrassed.

Answers:
i had one, he was a little guy (about 2 inches tall) and as bald as can be. his name was harry. honest. the reason for this was when i was little, my older sister said that was her imaginary friend and said she wanted to give him to me. so i pretened to keep him in my closet.

Other Answers:
i cant remember ever having one yet but i think its not wrong to have then ever at all
I didn't have imaginary friends, but I did think my dolls and stuffed animals has feelings does that count?
I had an imaginary friend when I was around 4 or 5. I didn't have many friends in school and I didn't have any siblings either. But I think maybe the biggest reason my imaginary friend...uhh...happened was after watching the movie "Drop Dead Fred". At least that's what my mom says.
I did. I grew up a Jehovahs Wittness and wasnt allowed to associate with any kids that weren't JW's because they were all worldly/satanic children. (I wish I were kidding)
I did not have imaginary friends I actually told my parents there was multiple me inside of me when I was little and they never freaked and took me to the psychiatrist and I grew out of it. I guess that's why I like psychology. Family is great at never letting you live anything down , think that is there role in life to try and keep us humble.
