is it weird missing ur 12th rib?!?!?!?

Question: i took a x-ray on my back and tha dr. said im missing a 12th rib! is that normal this is 4 dr.'s or proffessionals

That is definately weird. I am an xray tech, and I have never seen that. I have seen people with extra vertebrae, but not missing ribs. I am wondering if you had an xray of your back, you could have an extra vertebra, so it appeared that your rib was missing. Get a chest xray to be sure.
