How do you order a current prescription for contacts without having to go to a doc?

Question:
I don't think my eyes have changed- I still have the same glasses but I wanted to get more contacts at my prescription from a year and a half ago. I had ordered everything through my doc and through 1-800 contacts and now I just want to refill but they tell me my prescription has run out and I have to get an eye exam. I just want the contacts at my current prescription. Thanks!

Answers:
You have to get another eye exam and get a prescription. The prescriptions expire after 1 year, because you're supposed to get an eye exam yearly. Sorry, I know it sucks!

Other Answers:
they won't give them to you without a current prescription.

I have ordered mine online from contacts universe and all you need to know is your prescription which is written on the side of your box of contacts. It will be -.? and the curve is always the same : .8 I think. have a look anyway and it should make sense once you fill in the forms on the website.
There are plenty online stores that you will be able to order from
