why im I getting chest pains?

Being in the air conditioning hurts my chest pretty bad, I can't be in it for too long. They say you shouldn't take any chance with chest pain though. Does it happen at any particular time of the day, or when you're doing anything? Do you get short of breath or dizzy or have any other symptoms? It could just be something as simple as angina or stress, but it's best to have it checked out.
