i just got in an accident. do i need to report this to DMV?

how is the DMV gonna know anything about the accident? was there a police report? if there was, maybe you should report it just in case..if no report, there is no way of them knowing...
you don't ever need to go to the DMV. Depending on every ones insurance involved, they may need a police report. Check with your insurance agent, assuming you do have insurance right? since it is illegal to drive without it

no you don't have to report it to the DMV because when i got in a wreck the insurance covered it.
A friend of mine backed into my car two years ago. I didnt report it. We got an estimate on how much the damage was and she paid 4 it. Did you hit another persons car or something else? If you did you need to report it.
