it's like a kid having to get shots at the doctor. As a treat, the parent might give him ice cream or candy.
ummm.. i think it is suppose to make you feel better. but really i think mothers us it to convince their kids to get the shot "we will get ice cream when its over" eating sweets cause natural endorphine which acts as anesthesia. altho getting shot in the *** mite need more then

Ice cream is just for the patient, not for the injury. Is supposedly makes the patient feel better. I would feel better if I could have some good home cooking instead.
