I am thinking of having a nose reshaping operation, has anyone had this done to them and is it pain full?

It is more uncomfortable than painful. Remember to take pain meds on a schedule even if you are not in pain. Like if the directions say take one every four hours, do it. The worst part is when the take the packing out of your nose. In my case I had packing and luckily my doc had a new way of packing where both sides came out with one tug. I had rhinoplasty and the tip of my nose reshaped.

I've seen somebody who had it done. There was a lot of bruising at first but, hey....she lived.
Never had it, don't plan on it either! Im sure its painfull though, they have to break your nose to do it, and then you end up with a swollen and bruised face! ouch :)

I’ve had a nose job, nothing too it. Yea, it wasn’t that comfortably when you wake up but it’s bearable! And when all the bandages come off it will be the best thing you’ve ever done. Go for it!

and broke it again.other than it being painful then,the
operation wasn't.
